Welcome to the web page of the company GEO Slovakia, Ltd. Our company was established in the year 1999 and it has been actively engaged in geological services since the year 2002. At present our company employs 35 permanent employees, of which 24 employees graduated from a University.

The main scope of our company’s activity is the geological research and geological exploration - engineering geology, hydrogeology, prospection of geofactors of the environment, geophysical works, technical works, field tests, laboratory works of soils and water, and liquidation of the environmental loadings. In the course of the last years, the scope of our activity is enlarged step by step and we make continuously an effort to improve the quality of the services offered. From our recent successes I can mention the establishment of Geophysical Measurement Department, implementation of new technologies and successful application thereof within remediation of the environmental loadings, improvement of works by data processing in the GIS (Geographic Information System) and outputs through large-size printers.

Since 2004 the Quality Management System has been implemented here according to the standard ISO 9001:2000/ EN ISO 9001:2000. In the year 2007 the application of Quality Management System has been successfully reinstated by the re-certification.

Since 2011 the Quality Management System has been implemented here according to the standard ISO 14001:2004.

In the course of the year 2007 we worked intensively to fulfil the conditions for performance of the official measurement of bulk activity of radon in the soil air, and it was successful for us in October and we acquired the Decision on authorization.

Enlargement of the company’s activity resulted in the separation of water analytics laboratory into the separate company GEOLAB, Ltd. The aim of this transfer was to centralize the financial means for increase in scope of analyses and quality of laboratory works. In the year 2008 the laboratory received the Certificate of accreditation issued by the SNA upon fulfilment of conditions of the standard ISO/EC 17025:2005.
